The Workforce Connect Manufacturing Sector Partnership (MSP), an industry sector partnership led by 10 Northeast Ohio manufacturing firms and facilitated by MAGNET and the Greater Cleveland Partnership, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2022 MSP Scholars Program.
Focused on supporting Black college students in the region succeed in manufacturing careers, the MSP Scholars Program provides a financial award of $2000 for students to offset educational expenses. Equally as critical, the MSP Scholars Program connects students with opportunities to fully experience and fall in love with the Northeast Ohio Manufacturing industry. Through connections with industry executives and exclusive exposure to world-class organizations, MSP Scholars can accelerate their journey as the next generation of great manufacturing leaders in the region. The MSP Scholars Program is now accepting applications from current students who are Black, African American, or of African descent and are:
- Enrolled in a post-secondary engineering or manufacturing-related technology program,
- Graduating high school seniors interested in manufacturing, or
- Incumbent workers pursuing an engineering or manufacturing-related degree.
